Effective November 3, 2026. This policy covers the Jukebox apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Android, the App Clip, and the web voting page at jukebox.dancykier.com/join. Jukebox is made by DNZ Consulting LLC.
What we collect
- The name you type when you join a party, so the host and other guests can see who voted.
- A random account ID and a device ID. Jukebox signs you in without an email or password. The IDs keep your votes and your place in a party when you come back.
- What you do in a party: your votes, skip votes, song requests and the songs you add. Hosts also store the party itself: its name, settings and song list.
- Location, only if you allow it. When you tap Find parties near me, or a host turns on nearby joining, the app sends your location to find parties close by. Guests' locations are not saved. A host's party location is saved with the party while it runs.
- Apple Music, hosts only. A host connects Apple Music so the party can play. Apple handles that sign-in. We never see the Apple ID password.
- Things you send us, such as feedback, a beta sign-up email or a profile photo.
- Basic app events and crash information, so we can fix problems. These are not used for ads.
How we use it
Only to run Jukebox: to show the live queue, count votes, play the next song, show the leaderboard, and fix bugs. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and Jukebox has no ads.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores the party data and the anonymous sign-in.
- Apple provides Apple Music playback and song search.
- A host's party description and a guest's song request may be checked by an automated filter, so songs match the host's rules.
We may share information if the law requires it.
Who can see what
Everyone in a party can see the names of people in it, the queue and the vote counts. The host can see who requested which song. People outside the party see nothing unless they have its code or are nearby when the host allows nearby joining.
How long we keep it
Party data stays until you delete it, so hosts can look back at past parties. You can delete yours at any time.
Delete your data
- Android: on the Jukebox home screen, tap Delete my data.
- iPhone, iPad, Mac: Settings, your profile, Delete Account.
- Or email jukebox@dancykier.com and we delete it for you.
Deleting removes your profile, votes, skip votes, song requests, feedback and any parties you hosted.
Children
Jukebox is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU and UK), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we reply within 45 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
